What to Expect at Your Dental Care Visit
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our friendly front desk team who will help you get checked in and comfortable. Soon after, a member of our clinical team will escort you to your exam room and take time to discuss any concerns, goals, or desires you have regarding your dental health.

During your comprehensive exam, we will gather detailed information using the latest technology—including digital X-rays, intraoral and extraoral photographs, and, when needed, a CBCT scan to capture a 3D view of your teeth and supporting structures. This allows us to provide the most accurate diagnosis and highest quality care available today.

At Reynolds Mountain Dentistry, we believe every patient deserves choices in their dental health. Once your evaluation is complete, we will clearly explain your findings and present personalized treatment options to fit your needs and preferences. In some cases, this may include a follow-up consultation with the doctor and our patient care coordinator to ensure you feel fully informed and supported.

Your comfort, clarity, and confidence are our priority every step of the way.

Be sure to have your forms submitted, and any current x-rays sent to our office before making your appointment. It will greatly enhance the timeliness of your new patient exam.
New Patient FAQ

1
Will My insurance cover
x-rays?
Most insurance policies cover x-rays, though coverage and time limits vary. Check your plan and ask your previous dentist if they have recent x-rays on file. Please note, we are out-of-network and do not accept payment from insurance companies. Instead, you pay us directly, and your insurance will typically reimburse you.
2
Why do I need to have a Panoramic X-ray?
Good question. It allows the doctor to see all of your upper and lower jawbones and teeth, and many other potential problems. Without it we cannot thoroughly evaluate your dental health.
3
Can you help with my Dental Anxiety?
Yes! We offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas) for mild to moderate anxiety. For patients with severe anxiety, we can arrange IV sedation with a board-certified anesthesiologist. Since this provider is not in-house, IV sedation must be scheduled in advance to coordinate with their availability.
